In the words of a famous saying, “New year, new beginning”. And this is exactly what RE/MAX is doing at the start of 2023. We are now expanding our reach to Pampanga with the help of our newly opened office RE/MAX Grand Properties led by Broker-Owners Verna & Albert Guintu.

Verna has been a licensed broker since 2007. She began her career as a banker, serving the banking industry for 21 years before she fully transitioned to real estate practice in 2018 when she decided to resign from her consumer loans managerial job with China Banking Corporation in 2017. Her years of experience proved to be one of the valuable assets that helped her establish her real estate career.

Verna has always been a go-getter. From her first real estate selling endeavor, which was as the Sales Channel Head of her batchmate's luxury condominium in Angeles City, Pampanga, to handling clients of diverse nationalities.

One of her secret sauce has always been service. When asked about the value of delivering excellent service to her business she said:

“ Excellent service to customers is key to successful real estate transactions and long term business relationships.  Extending oneself to customers plays an important role in client retention, new referrals and repeat business. The value of a heart that serves, coupled with sincerity, honesty and promptness will make one a popular professional and the favorite of clients on their next real estate needs. It makes it even fun to do things when clients become professionally close to us. The next thing you know, you have another unexpected deal closing.” 

When asked why the couple chose to join the RE/MAX brand Verna expressed how she and her husband realized their bigger purpose in helping build the real estate industry in the Philippines:

“Truthfully, before my husband and I decided to franchise the REMAX brand, we only wanted to have an organized office for ourselves only as we do not have any experience about agents and we are not even ready to accommodate agents. We shift our paradigms after we were enlightened that we can influence people by prospering their lives,  by guiding them professionally, by inspiring them to have their dreams possible through real estate. These things give us meaning and reason to pursue this franchise. Remax will become our way to help people prosper their lives without sacrificing any real estate  opportunity that may come along, and willingly share them to people who wants the same opportunity. In the next five years, as a RE/MAX Grand Properties franchisee, Verna plans to further develop the RE/MAX brand in Pampanga and all of the committed real estate professionals behind it.
